Ciara Perez is a dedicated and experienced social worker with a strong background in mental health crisis intervention and individual counseling. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Saint Joseph and went on to complete her Master’s in Social Work at Fordham University.

Ciara began her career working on an inpatient psychiatric unit, gaining firsthand experience with individuals facing severe mental health challenges. She then transitioned into mobile crisis work, assessing adults and children in crisis within the emergency department. Her expertise extended to working alongside law enforcement as a mobile crisis clinician, where she responded to individuals experiencing suicidal, homicidal, or out-of-control behaviors, as well as those who were gravely disabled.

Ciara possesses extensive training in various therapeutic modalities, including Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Art Therapy. She incorporates strength-based approach to empower her clients, emphasizing their inherent strengths and capabilities. Ciara fosters a therapeutic environment rooted in collaboration, connection, trust, and respect, working alongside her clients to identify and overcome barriers that hinder their ability to lead fulfilling lives. Her approach ensures a supportive and transformative experience for those she serves.
