Samantha Burgos

Clinical Director|LCSW|BSN

I am a licensed clinical social worker and nurse with a passion for helping others heal, grow, and thrive. I earned my bachelor’s degree in social work from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2016 and my Master of Social Work with a clinical concentration from Fordham University in 2017. My professional experience spans in-home therapy, EMPS, school-based therapy, and crisis work at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (CCMC). I’ve also worked in private practice, supporting young adults and individuals ages 13 and up through a wide range of mental health challenges.

My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, empowerment, and authenticity. I integrate evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to tailor treatment to each unique client. I specialize in trauma-informed care and am committed to helping you reconnect with your inner strength, process your past, and envision the life you deserve.

As a BIPOC Latina, I believe deeply in creating an inclusive space where every person—regardless of race, age, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation—feels seen, valued, and accepted. I created this practice to ensure a safe space where you can not only explore your journey and your sense of self, but also realize that you are far greater than you know.

In 2023, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Connecticut, and I’m currently pursuing my Master of Science in Nursing at Union University to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), with graduation expected in December 2025.

I am a firm believer that your future is not defined by your past—this is something I know firsthand. Let me assist you in your journey to healing and becoming the fullest version of yourself.
